We design our Gift Shop catalogue around the current needs of the Chamcar Bei community, and all the gifts have been identified as essential by this community and our operational partner Bridges Across Borders.

By offering this option we enable you to spend your money on a gift you choose.

The pricing of gifts is based on the costs of buying the items or services. The cost also includes the costs associated with delivering and maintaining the item or service.

We have every intention of spending your money on your chosen gift. However, the needs of the Chamcar Bei community might change. For instance, we may need to respond to a natural disaster or we might need more funding for priorities within the project.

If necessary, Hand in Hand Cambodia will spend the money on something other than the gift you choose. This kind of flexibility means that the Chamcar Bei community can get exactly what they need if and when their circumstances change.

All of our gifts make a real difference to real people in Cambodia.

Wat is er prettiger dan cadeautjes kopen (en geven)? Niets toch?

Bij deze geschenken gaat het niet om goedbedoelde maar overbodige gadgets: stuk voor stuk zijn het zaken die zo goed als zeker het leven van de ontvanger ten goede zullen keren. Een kip legt eieren en brengt kuikentjes groot, een zak zaaigoed wordt een veld vol rijst waarvan een heel gezin maanden kan eten en een volgende oogst kan inzaaien, met geneesmiddelen wordt malaria ingedijkt waardoor tientallen (kinder)levens worden gered, schoolgerief maakt van ongeletterde stumperds weerbare burgers die hun rechten kunnen verdedigen...

Maak zelf uw keuze in onze winkelrekken. Of laat het aan ons over om uw gift optimaal te besteden (wat wij met de grootste zorg zullen doen).

Wij geven u twee garanties:

• Wij gaan door met dit project tot het dorp op eigen kracht verder kan bouwen aan een veelbelovende toekomst.
